Student Interface: Multiple Choice
We provide an easy to use, yet powerful tool for students to use when revising for exams. With every question answered, SelfTute learns more and more about that user and what they know.

Our algorithm uses this knowledge to give students quizzes, personalised to them, to build a unique learning experience. For example, if a student repeatedly answers the same question wrong, this question will more frequently occur every time a student attempts that given quiz; this ensures that the student can learn from their mistakes and answer the question correctly.
Student Interface: Question and Answer
Our other method for learning is the question and answer mode which is to be used especially to revise past topics by ensuring that a student can confidently answer questions from memory. The student will be given a question, they will then type in an answer and click the 'show answer' button - this will not tell the student if they answered right or wrong, but instead reveal the correct answer so that they can then compare what they wrote to the correct answer and see what they have done that can be improved or what is already correct.

For teachers, this is especially useful as rather than just focusing on one or two mark questions with the multiple-choice mode, the student can have a go at answering more detailed questions and they can assess the quality in which they have answered.
Track Student Activity & Performance
Teachers are provided with an abundance of powerful data and statistics of students which by default, gives a summary for the past 7 days of the number of daily targets a student has completed that week; their accuracy; the number of questions they have correctly answered; the progress which they have made; and the total time spent active and answering questions.

Other insights - such as a list of students who have completed their daily target today, the list of engaged students (students who have been doing at least 4 daily targets), active students (students who have done at least 1 daily target), and inactive students. As well as these, teacher can also see a list of the students who have had a high accuracy, or a low one.
Analyse Each Student's Knlowledge
We provide teachers with all the data they need in order to understand the strengths and weaknesses of their students on our Analyse page. This data is presented in a simple visual manner where the size of the learning icon represents how much of each subject, section, or topic students have completeted and the colours of these icons represent how well they have achieved in them. Blue shows that the learner has a very high accuracy, green shows a good accuracy, orange shows a developing accuracy, and red shows a low accuracy.

This tool ensures that by just a few clicks, teachers can more efficiently plan lessons by assessing what their students need to learn - quickly and effectively. Specific students can then be targeted and given help accordingly. Teachers can therefore save time by spending more of their time helping students, and less time on quizzing and marking.
